How it all began

Hello! I'm Jenni!

Before I started as a strategist, I spent 10 wonderful years in the fast-paced world of start-ups, building and developing some awesome brands, working my way from marketing intern to Head of Brand in the senior leadership team. It was fan-bloody-tastic.

Brand strategy came into my life 6 years ago when I managed a big re-brand. I swiftly discovered that brand strategy has a reputation for being complicated with countless frameworks, multi-step processes, and conflicting jargon that I found wasn’t always the best solution for my fast-paced, smaller brands, who needed clarity quickly and affordably.

Since then I’ve honed my skills, delivering a process that I wish I‘d known back when my brand journey began. I’ve now taken the plunge to pursue my passion in purpose to help make brand strategy accessible, re-energise brands and provide clear direction that ensures long-term commercial success. It’s the dream!

The things that make me

  • Crafting is a passion of mine; evenings are incomplete without a needle or paintbrush in hand. I've recently embarked on a daily painting challenge, which you can follow along on TikTok.

  • I have a maltipoo called Pingu, named after our favourite childhood penguin of course.

  • I am a slow riser - preferring to snuggle up with a good book and a coffee than going to the gym at 5am and I’m ok with that.

  • Of course, no life would be complete without wonderful friends and family - I’m lucky to have some keepers!

Two truths and a lie

  1. I'm related to William Wallace (according to Nan's research).

  2. I'm a creme fraiche super fan and have tried almost every kind on the UK market. In fact, I was the top buyer of Yeo Valley’s in Sainsbury's Holborn in 2019.

  3. I've read every winning book from the Booker Prize list.
